The money raised to date (in excess of $900,000) has served as seed money to leverage additional support in the amount of $10,000,000 from the National Cancer Institute’s SPORE Program (Specialized Programs of Research Excellence) and the National Institute of Health’s CIDR Program (Center for Inherited Disease Research). The fund now represents the single largest and highest quality melanoma study of its kind in the world!
